Geoffory Knoxville Junior
I am Geoffory Knoxville Junior and I am a HAPPY BOY.  My foster mom says I have too much personality for just one name.  If a pharmaceutical company could bottle me up, it would be the end to all sadness in the world…that’s how happy I am.  HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!!  When you meet me you just can’t help but smile, giggle, or laugh out loud.  Even my grouchy foster dad can’t help but smile; he even gave me a comedian’s name.  My foster mom says I must have been a comedian in my past life because everyone who meets me suggests a new name (and all of them have been comedian names).
I was rescued on accident, my friend Logan was supposed to get in the rescue truck, but I did instead…when I jumped out of the truck I yelled: SURPRISE!!! And everyone just laughed at me (I have that effect on people).   I currently live with 3 other dogs, a cat, two ferrets, and three children.  My foster mom has vowed to quit laughing at me, she says it not good for a pup to just be able to smile and get away with whatever….but I just stick my tongue in her ear and she forgets not to laugh.
I am about a year old; I arrived in TLC on Jan 24, 2010.  I am 62 pounds, neutered, vaccinated, crate trained, have had some obedience training, and will be micro chipped before adoption.

Bailey

Hi, there I am Bailey, I am the official greeter at my Mom's grooming shop. I love meeting people. I am learning commands like sit, and go. I am a pretty black boy.

If you are interested in meeting me, please contact TLC.

Bailey's foster Mom says that he is crate trained and is almost potty trained. She also says that he listens when told to go lay down.
Hi!  Brooklyn here.  As you can see, I'm a very pretty female black lab, about 4 years old, who came to TLC from a shelter where I had been too long and was getting stressed from staying in a small kennel.  I'm so glad I'm in a foster home now, and I'm learning all sorts of great things - how to stay in a crate, walk nice on a leash, and even playing with my new black lab sisters!  Everyone who has met me has said how nice I am and that I'll make someone a really nice dog who can spend the time with me and give me the exercise and attention I need.  I'm not a very big lab, so if you think you would have room for me in your house and heart, please contact TLC for more information.  Thanks, love Brooklyn

Hello, My name is Jackson and I am a 10 yr old yellow male. You see I have had a very rough life so far. I was chained outside for the last 10 yrs and then my family decided that they didn't like me anymore so they dumped me at a shelter. When my foster mom picked me up I was infested with fleas, had ear mites, HORRIBLE ear infections, whipworms, Giardia (an infection of the small intestine,) very underweight, and the worst part is that someone tried to cut my ears off. My foster mom doesn't know why anyone would want to hurt me because she keeps telling me how sweet I am and that she can't believe that I still like humans with as bad as I was treated by humans. I am finally starting to get better thanks to a lot of TLC(no pun intended,) but I still have a ways to go. You see I have some skin tags on my eyes that every time I open or shut my eyes they rub on my eye. I need to get this removed once I am a little stronger. I am also hard of hearing due to the many years of horrible ear infection that were left untreated, but that doesn't stop me. I am great around everyone I meet, I love other dogs, I LOVE being in the house on a nice warm bed or blanket. I don't chew things up. I do like to go for walks. If your looking for a great older guy, who is super happy, ask for me Jackson. Jackson is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered

Hello, My name is Baxter and I am a 12 wk old black lab mix. I was saved by TLC in just the nick of time. I am a super sweet guy. I am great with everyone I meet including dogs and humans. I love to play outside. I am crate trained and I love to snuggle. If you think you have the time for a super sweet little guy as for me, Baxter. Baxter is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.
Rambo
I was born in November of 2009. I love the snow and enjoy snuggling. I am a quiet guy, who likes to watch the the scene around me then decide if I want to get up and participate. I enjoy meeting kids, and think it would great to play with them more often. I also like to play with dogs, and like to bark at them to get them to play with me. My foster mom says that I am crate trained, and love to be with people.

I would love to have a home of my own soon. If you want to add a new pup to yours please contact TLC.
GUS
I am Gus, I am 7 years old, but despite my age do not be fooled, I still have energy to spare. My fosters came to the Humane Society on 2/20, and brought me home.

Everyday that I am with my fosters I am settling down. They say that I am doing well with the crate training. Someone obviously worked on training me before I ended up at the shelter, as I seem to know some common commands like sit, down, and stay.

While I do ok with other dogs I do seem to need to work on my overexcited approach with them, but I guess as they say practice makes perfect.
Meika
Mieka is a beautiful black lab mix who is about 10 months old.  She is very gentle and affectionate.  She loves to play outside with the other dogs and loves the neighbor children.  She’s also happy to just stay inside, curl up and take a snooze.  She is very smart and picked right up on our invisible fence training and knows where the treats are kept already.  She weighs 62 pounds, is completely housebroken, has been spayed and is in great health.  She rarely barks, even when our other dogs are barking.  She is still a puppy and you have to watch her since we lost a pillow and almost a slipper.  Mieka is a very sweet girl and would be the perfect companion for any family with our without children and/or other dogs.

Kloonie
Kloonie has been with TLC since November of 2009. He is an incredibly sweet dog who is estimated to be about 1 year old. He responds well to training, and has some energy to spare. He enjoys going to doggie day care and for walks. He has been cat tested and seemed uninterested in them. He sniffed them, but left them alone. Kloonie has continued to grow while he has been in foster care. He is approximately 80 pounds at this time and looks like he could grow more. He is a tall dog, and seems to be at eye level of most children who are about 6-7. He is still perfecting his manners, as he gets excited to see people and other dogs, but he has shown great improvement. He has been through a basic obedience class. He loves to be by people, and thinks that he is a lap dog. Snuggling is his middle name.

He is a great young dog, who is looking for a forever home, and people who want a companion to share their lives. Please contact TLC if you are interested in meeting Kloonie.
Delilah
Delilah is a sweet, timid, shy but playful, approx. 9 month old, female Lab mix. She’s very laid back when she needs to be but loves to play especially in the snow.  She is medium size so for a smaller home she’ll fit right in.

Delilah has never had a real home. She has been in rescue or shelters since she was a small puppy with her brother Sampson, who she was very dependent on. They have since been separated to give them each the best chance for adoption. Despite this, she is very good in the house, get’s along great with other animals including cats, loves kids but will snatch food from toddlers if given the chance,  loves belly rubs, hugs and kisses on her nose. She is crate trained but would rather be with her person. She does need some consistent training that her foster mom and dad are working on with her. She is very smart, listens well and learns quickly. Her foster mom and dad call her Lady “D” or “DD” for short. Her foster mom and dad have given her an extreme makeover. Bubble bath, nails filed, teeth brushed and her coat has been brushed to a pretty sheen so she makes a good impression on you.

Sampson
Meet Sampson... half of Sampson and Delilah who we brought in on Saturday 2/20. It appears these 2 have spent the better part of their life in a kennel or shelter. They know nothing but each other and now separated, will begin to show their personalities. Sampson is very quiet, VERY shy, but wags his tail at the slightest bit of attention. He takes treats VERY gently.. but evidently will snatch stuff out of small peoples hands.

Sampson loves love. He will sit and let you hug him, belly rub, kiss is nose, rub his ears or just sit with you for as long as you'll let him. He's awesome in the car. Sampson is very sweet but needs some training, both on leash and in the house. When Sampson came in, he was not housebroken, but they've been working with him, he's supposed to be doing better.

Sampson stills needs to get settled into foster care, but stayed tuned for updates.....pictures and more information on him will be forthcoming as he goes up for adoption.
While he does look brown in some pictures, Sampson is a black lab.
