The Labrador Connection
(TLC) is an all volunteer network dedicated to the rehoming of unwanted and abandoned Labrador retrievers into loving, forever permanent homes. We are also committed to educating the public about responsible pet ownership including but not limited to spaying and neutering your pets, training, and proper veterinary care. Special emphasis is placed on assisting senior labs.
TLC is committed to helping senior and special needs labs. We need your help! Please click on the donate link to see how you can help us save the seniors and special needs labs. Everyone else gave up on them but we will not.

In order to better help the Labs through issues with behavior (seperation anixiety and etc.), physical ailments (heartworms, spaying/neutering, vaccinations, medical testing), and anything else that they may need during their stay in our foster program we always accept donations.
Contributions can be made for any of our dogs by mailing a check to:

If you would like your donation to help a certain lab, please write their name in the memo line. Thank you! Our volunteers and the labs we try to help could not do it without you.

Buster and Brutus are 7 year old litter mates. They joined the TLC foster program on the 4th of July weekend. After spending the weekend getting used to their new foster home we took them to the vet.
During treatment and testing the vet and TLC discovered that these two wonderful boys were heartworm positive; they were also infested with fleas. Since their vet visit they have received the flea treatment, gotten a bath and nail trim. Every day they come a little further out of their shell, and their foster Mom says that they give the best kisses.
The cost of heartworm treatment is very high; it will cost TLC $1000 to provide treatment to both dogs. We are going to be participating in various events. If you are interested in helping these two boys out, please check out our events page, or see the donation information below.
